Background:

The Sino-German BioEnergy Annual Conference will be held in Fuyang, Anhui Province, from 22 to 24 October, 2024. The event is organized by the German Agricultural Society (DLG), together with its partner, China Biogas Society (CBS), since 2009 continually.

Fuyang, the leading city in northern Anhui Province, prioritizes the new energy and environmental protection industry as the foremost among its "Top 8 Advanced Manufacturing Industries".

The Fuyang Biogas Grid Integration Project, operational since 2020, annually processes 3 million tons of agricultural waste, yielding 40 million cubic meters of purified biogas and 200,000 tons of organic fertilizer. This project establishes a new model for the industrial and market-driven development of biogas and explores a new path for rural energy revolution.
