Fuyang, a city under the jurisdiction of Anhui Province, covers an area of 10,118 square kilometers, with a registered urban population of 10.8 million and permanent residents of 8.14 million.
Fuyang is rich in various resources and natural treasures. Fuyang is well-known as a 5-million-ton granary in the area of the Yangtze River and Huai River, it is also a national large-scale commodity grain and meat production base, as well as a production, processing and supply base of green agricultural products in the Yangtze River Delta. The proven underground coal mining reserves exceed 10 billion tons, and it is an important manufacturing base and emerging energy base in Central China.
