China Biogas Society (CBS) is founded by the Ministry of Agriculture, responsible for the policy advice, setting up standards, service to the national members, and responsible for international cooperation, etc.

DLG is world leading non-profitable organization specialized in agriculture and food sector. DLG organizes bio-energy trade fairs and conferences in Germany, China and Italy with great success and established a world-wide network of experts, companies and authorities.

Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences (GIEC), was founded in 1978, has been fully devoted into the R&D of new energy and renewable energy. 


The sixth event on decentralized energy supply -the Sino-German BioEnergy Annual Conference- took place from15 – 16 December 2015 and welcomed more than 500 experts from all over China. Representatives from 32 provinces, mainly rural energy offices, as well as German and Chinese bioenergy companies, researchers and experts attended the conference. This year's event was dedicated to the theme "Energy generation by large scale biogas plants".

A total of 30 German and Chinese companies presented in an accompanying foyer exhibition their products and services to a highly interested audience. The event was included in the annual meeting of China Biogas Society, attracting decision-makers from both the provinces of China as well as private biogas companies. The conference of the bioenergy sector offered a top-class platform for the exchange of knowledge. This year the exhibitors registered a much higher interest in current topics related to bioenergy.
This year also the event Asean 10 + 3 conference was held parallel to the Sino-German conference organized by the Chinese Foreign Economic Cooperation Centre (FECC) where bioenergy agencies from 13 Asian countries (among others Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines etc.) participated.

3. Anaerobic fermentation of microbiology and the process of metabolic mechanism

4. New equipment, new technology, and process control of large-scale biogas plants

6. The industrialized utilization, biogas power generation, CHP, purification, etc.
